24 October 2026, 2 minute read

Sunday at RT Café Grill has its own menu. It is made for long lunches: a roast, something from the sea if you’d rather, and nobody waiting for your table at half past two.

The roasts.

Every roast comes with roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and gravy, which comes up in jugs for the table to pour. Roasts start at £22, with dishes such as:

  • Treacle and thyme roasted sirloin of grass-fed beef
  • Roasted loin of rare breed pork with crackling
  • A pithivier of woodland mushrooms, leeks and Comté, with mushroom gravy, and a vegan option

Alongside the roasts there are oysters, a few starters, dishes such as St Austell Bay mussels or a squash risotto, cheese, and gelato made here. There is a vegan option at every course.

This is a sample of a Sunday, not a fixed menu. The chefs may add a special depending on what comes in. To find out exactly what’s on, call 01983 526118 or look on Instagram. The Sunday menu has the full sample, with prices.
