Booking Thompson's

Thompson's, our tasting menu in The Cellar, runs on selected dates throughout the year. To book, select Thompson's as your experience in the booking form above, then choose your date and time.

Thompson's is a set tasting menu only — please let us know any dietary requirements when you book, as we require prior notice to cater for needs not listed on the menu. See all 2026 dates →

Parking

We don't have on-site guest parking. There are two large public car parks within a two-minute walk — one directly opposite the restaurant.

Groups of 8 or more

For larger parties, call us on 01983 526118 or enquire about The Cellar. We'll arrange a deposit and discuss menu options.

Cancellation

Tables of 1–4 can be cancelled free up to the day of your booking. For 5 or more, card details are taken on booking; cancellations within 48 hours incur a £15 per guest charge, and no-shows are charged the full menu price.

Garden tables

Garden tables are weather-dependent. If conditions look problematic on the morning of your booking, we'll be in touch — we can't always guarantee an inside table during busy services.

Dietary requirements

Let us know any allergies or dietary needs when you book — there's a field in the booking form. For complex requirements, call us in advance and we'll plan ahead with the kitchen.

Well-behaved dogs welcome

Dogs are welcome in the restaurant — please mention you're bringing one when you book so we can allocate a suitable table.
