Known for earning one Michelin star at Winteringham Fields, and then at the Hambrough on the Isle of Wight, Robert now brings together the highlights of his celebrated career with new seasonal inspirations. These special lunches and evenings offer the chance to enjoy refined fine dining in an intimate setting, the perfect occasion for food lovers, special celebrations, or simply treating yourself to an unforgettable experience.

We are pleased to present next year’s tasting menu dates. Each date is an opportunity to come & try Thompson's Tantalising Tasting Menu in our stunning cellar dining rooms. The menu showcases Robert & his teams most exquisite expressions of seasonality and craft.

Valentine’s at Thompson’s we will be offering a tasting menu format only.

This is a refined and carefully paced dining experience built around seasonal produce luxurious flavours and beautiful presentation. The menu evolves over the evening allowing you to relax and enjoy each course as it arrives.

Guests can choose from three tasting menu options:
Six courses from one hundred pounds per guest
Seven courses from one hundred and twenty nine pounds per guest
Eight courses from one hundred and fifty pounds per guest

An optional wine flight is available to accompany each menu.

This experience is ideal for those looking to mark Valentine’s with a special night of food and wine in an intimate setting.
