it’s been just over one week since I announced the new project and the building work is underway at a speed of knots. You learn a lot about a building when you start to take it down to refresh the interiors as we have done this week by discovering old fireplaces and secret rooms which, will all be featured in the new restaurant.
This week our attentions have also been on the pop-up restaurant tour around the Isle of Wight. I look forward to cooking for so many of you who have purchased tickets and they’re always a lot of fun. It has also got me out and about picking the wild garlic found all over the island. If you haven’t noticed it yet, you can smell it as you drive around the Island.
Finally as the builders continue the great work they are doing on the Isle of Wight Restaurant, we are planning our launch date which is steering closer to the end of June but you will hear about all that in the coming weeks.
