Aimee and Will at the Living Larder have such a great passion for the rich agriculture on the Isle of Wight. With their own business they have researched and explored new varieties of vegetables which are then hand picked and delivered on the same day.
Living Larder is very much a family business, with a long established history in growing fresh produce at Galley Horne on the Isle of Wight. The family first started growing on this site in 1922 and since then the business has spanned many generations. Will Steward now runs the farm with his wife Aimee, supported by his parents Pat and Bill and young children Annabelle and George.
In 2014 they piloted a vegetable box scheme supplying around 20 family and friends and the rest is history. In 2015 Living Larder has started to grow and supply the best tasting, finest and most diverse fresh produce on the Island.
I am looking forward to working with the Living Larder at Thompson’s this year.
